Friday we went camping with a few friends from our ward. It was a lot of fun, but wet. Just as Nate was starting to cook dinner for everyone in dutch ovens, the heavens opened and drenched us. My kids were the only crazy ones who stood out in the pouring rain while all the other kids and adults took cover in tents. We were going to go hiking on Saturday but got rained out of that. We look forward to many more camping trips as a family. It was so nice that Nate couldn't get reception up there so no calls from work saying he needed to come fix something!! I took a picture of our tent and if you look close you can see an elmo potty chair right in front. We knew that Mara would not do well with an outhouse since she won't even go in a clean, nice public potty. We hoped the elmo potty would work for her- it did. Her little friends all took turns using it as well.

Sounds fun despite the rain. We keep talking about getting a tent and starting to camp, maybe next summer.
