updates

Audrey is 9 months old.  She weighs in at 19lbs 13.6 oz and is 27.75 inches long.  Her 6th tooth broke through this morning.  She rolls like crazy and can army crawl faster than fast.  She skipped the whole baby food stage- refusing to eat anything we tried to feed to her on a spoon, but now with a mouth full of chompers she is  happy to eat as long as she puts it into her mouth all by herself.  She has developed quite the personality- she is a real ham- always making faces and giving supper cheesy smiles.  She makes all kinds of strange noises and then laughs at herself.

Here she is enjoying red vines for the first time (it was grandma's house so I figured why not?  Grandma's is suppose to be fun and where you get to do things mom doesn't normally let you do.) This will also be my before picture( I just chopped my hair last night.)

Here is my after picture. This is from this morning, I hadn't (still haven't) showered yet and am still in jammies, but you get the idea of how I got my hair cut. ( the girl who did it- blow dried it and made it really puffy -I will do it more stream lined)  I already feel cooler than I have all summer.

Wyatt helping grandpa make pancakes for Mara's birthday dinner and Mara's Palomino pony cake.
Blowing out her candle. Ready to eat some chocolate cake!
Happy 7th Birthday Mara!!!

For the first time- all 12 grandkids

The kids and I just spend a week in Utah to see my brother, Brandon's, daughter, Kaienta.  She has been in Spain for almost 5 years now.  We were thrilled to be able to go and see her.  It was fun to see all the family (all but Griffin) and just let the cousins play.  This is the first time my parents were able to have all 12 of their grand kids together.  Don't you just love that Wyatt is making a face for this momentous picture!  There are lots of other pictures to come.  Missing the family already!  LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Today Mara is turning 7!  I just can't believe how time flies.  Each year has brought many joys and challenges and we look forward to what this coming year will hold- baptism prep, 2nd grade, etc.

July 16th, 2003- 5:27pm- Surpirse- It's  a Girl! 8lbs 6oz

Happy 1st Birthday!- First taste of cake - verdict- YUM!

Happy 2nd birthday!- this year the obesession was about trains

Her 3rd year brought all things princess.

4th year was all things girlie- and what is more girlie then a tea party.

Year five was pink, pink, pink and kindergarten!
Happy 6th birthday- arts and crafts and 1st grade

This year all she thinks about are horses-so a horse cake and horse themed gifts to come today ( i'll post picturs in a few days)

I love this picture because it shows Mara's love for reading started way back at the  start.  She wakes up early (5:15) every moring and goes straight to the couch to read.  Wyatt just gave her a new book for her birthday and I am sure she will have it read by tmorrow.  Happy Birthday Sweetie! We Love You!!!

I haven't posted in over a month- so I felt like I should post something.

Quick Updates:

Nate- busy with work, remembering how to play the piano on our "new" keyboard, and putting up with me.

Me-tired, oh so tired. end of story.

Mara- finishing up her last few weeks of 1st grade, turning 7 this week, loving s'mores made with strawberry marshmallows (me too!), obsessed with ford Mustangs along with her brother.

Wyatt- loving soy after finally realizing he is allergic to milk, really starting to read, spends his days making me laugh and making me want to pull my hair out, a fantastic photographer, Ford Mustang running total since last Sunday is 76- how many will we see today?

Audrey- CRazY, 4 teeth ready to come through at any moment, army crawling EVERYWHERE, "sings" when Mara and Wyatt sing to her, attached to her mom still, a speed roller, and very curious.
