My Little Worry Wart
So I was just laying down with Mara and I thought she was asleep when all of sudden I hear her start praying. She is barely whispering so I didn't catch everything she said but what I did hear melted my heart. She started off praying that she wouldn't have any scary dreams (we have to pray for this at dinner and family prayers every night, but apparently that isn't enough for my little worrier,) then she was too quiet to hear for a while then I heard, "please don't let the house catch on fire, please help me to choose the right, help me remember to be good and go to church each week. . . then she was too quiet again for a bit then she finished with," thank you- In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."
May I add my thanks to all of you who are such good examples for my little one and have helped her to learn to rely on her Heavenly Father for comfort! Primary teachers and leaders are so important in children's lives- Thanks for all your time and energy you put into your lessons and sharing times- it is all worth while:)!

Oh, how I have miss you!!!!
Oh, glorious exercise- How I have missed you!!! I can not believe it has been six weeks since we have partnered up. What was I thinking, leaving you by the wayside while I feasted on the spoils of the holiday season? I felt every muscle in my tired body groan as we finally came together again this morning. The floor is splattered with sweat and the air is ripe with b.o. but I will meet you again tomorrow and every day there after! Forgive me all the neglect and do good to my old body!!!!
Nate Update
Nate met with his doctor yesterday and the ultrasound showed several kidney stones-some large that will probably cause blockage when they try to move out of the kidney, and one of his kidney's is swollen. They are trying to get him into the urologist now. He has decided to continue to pass these stones without pain killers- I think he is crazy but he is a tough one.

Another Miracle for Our Wyatt
We just got home from visiting the ENT. The infection in his right ear is finally gone. The left ear that we were told had a hole and that the tube had fallen out a few months ago, was perfect! The crazy part is that the tube is in place and functionally normal! Two different doctors over the past 9 months have said that, that tube in left ear had fallen out and that the hole the tube had been in had not closed and if it did not close on its own it would need surgery to close it. About 5 months ago, Wyatt's doctor was able to see the tube lying in his ear canal and almost pulled it out but it was just out of reach of the tweezers. So sometime between last Wednesday afternoon and 8:00 this morning that tube went back down his ear canal and jumped into the hole in his ear drum and sealed itself into place. They tested the tube to make sure it was functioning and it is. The ENT couldn't explain it.
What a blessing! Yesterday Wyatt started to act like the wild, crazy kid we have been missing for weeks. Welcome back Wyatt!! We love you and are even more sure of how much your Heavenly Father loves you. May these blessings and miracles of the past year help you throughout your life to know who you are and that you have a loving Father in Heaven who is very aware of you and the trials you are facing. He is there for you no matter what and He will answer your prayers!

"Have patience with everything that remains unsolved in your heart. Try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books written in a foreign language. Do not now look for the answers. They cannot now be given to you because you could not live them. It is a question of experiencing everything. At present you need to live the question. Perhaps you will gradually, without even noticing it, find yourself experiencing the answer, some distant day. "

For me yesterday was a great but difficult day on many levels. I just want to thank E. for having this quote on her blog to help me put somethings in perspective and for my bff for letting me call and cry to her even though she was having as rough as I time as I was. THANKS!

Will Wyatt ever be back to normal?
So we took Wyatt back to the doctor yesterday for what was suppose to be just a follow up visit but he keeps getting these low grade fevers and wants to sleep a lot. She checked his lungs- doing good. Checked his ears- not so good. The left ear has a large hole in it and the right has a layer of puss we just can't seem to get rid of. So he is now on his 5th antibiotic in 2 and 1/2 weeks time and has an appointment with the ENT specialist on Monday. I am trying a new ENT as we were not thrilled with the last one we saw when Wyatt had tubes but in his ears in Feb of 2007. I really hope he can help Wyatt and that we can find some way to get his ears taken care of without more surgery. Today he woke up and didn't look like he was feeling well. By 9:15 he was burning up, his eyes were glazed over, and he wanted to go to sleep. He took some Motrin and went to sleep for an hour. He is up and happy for the moment but you can tell just by his eyes he is not okay. I just feel so bad for the little guy. I know that we are truly blessed and he will be okay eventually. Our little trials are nothing compared to so many and I hope this doesn't come across as complaining or whining. I just hate seeing him so sad and having to give him so much medicine and take him to so many doctor appointments. Here is to hoping this antibiotic will work and that the hole in his ear will close on it's own!
Nate also had a doctor's appointment yesterday for himself. Funny part is we both ended up at the same Target pharmacy at the same time to fill prescriptions! The kids thought it was great to run into Dad in the middle of the day. Nate is having problems with his kidneys again. He is should be having an ultrasound on them in a few days and hopefully that can tell us more. Keep him in your prayers! Thanks!!!

snowball
My kids finally got to throw their snowballs at their grandpa (they had been in the freezer since it snowed last.)
Cha-Cha
Nate has been getting CDs from the library of all kinds of different music. The kids are loving it all except the Greek music. They have been going around doing the cha-cha. I am not sure where they heard about the cha-cha, but they are sure trying to do it.
