Last night we enjoyed a thanksgiving dinner with the sister missionaries in our ward. They helped us finish up our thankful mirror. We started on November 2nd and each wrote something we are grateful every night at dinner time.
It was a fun thing, that may just become a new tradition around here. I feel sad even thinking about washing it off. It may stay this way for a very long time.
We really enjoyed having the missionaries over and spending the holiday with them. They actually came over Wednesday morning as well to help cook and bake. Thursday we played some Thanksgiving trivia games, taught them how to play qwarkle, made gratitude lists and just enjoyed visiting. All the food turned it great and we will be eating leftovers forever. From an early morning run to watching the Macy's parade to listening to the kids recite Alma 34:38 before they could get a plate to eating mounds of food, it was a wonderful day spent as a family, they very people i am most grateful for.
